A modern day love story came to a tragic end July 4th, 2011, as Anna Daddio and her 8 year old step-daughter Mia Daddio watched the powerful current at Silver Sands Beach in Milford CT, sweep Rocco Daddio away.
Rocky and Anna shared a love only a lucky few will experience in this life. A love they referred to as 'True Romance'. They have matching tattoos to prove it. 'True' is tattooed on the back of Rocky's neck while Anna has 'Romance' on the back of hers. Their deep love for one another is evident in their photos, videos, and witty banter shared on Facebook.
Rocky's beautiful daughter Mia, was the light of his life. Mia was his one and only true love aside from Anna. Rocky loved being a father and so proudly broadcast it to the world. Mia adored him completely and will struggle greatly with the loss of her best friend. The two shared many adventures together including their final one on Charles Island.

Rocky was loved by everyone he encountered. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him or being in his presence would agree. His huge heart, great sense of humor, dynamic and a charismatic personality made people gravitate towards him. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues at Lee Partyka in Hamden, CT where he was employed for 3 years.
We would like to welcome anyone who has been touched by this tragedy to help celebrate his life in effort to aid the loved ones who lost this amazing man. A benefit in his honor will take place on August 8, 2011 at the Eli's On The Hill in Branford, CT. Please join us in this effort to help his family recover from this horrific event.
